Eurostars: International development with a clear path to market
Eurostars supports the international development of innovative products, technologies, processes, or services led by an innovative SME. The program fosters cross-border collaboration on research, development, and innovation projects across all fields. It is well suited to companies with a concrete technology project that they want to develop towards the market together with an international partner, as every project must have clear commercial potential.

Is Eurostars right for your project?
The consortium must include at least two independent entities from at least two Eurostars countries, with the leading role held by an innovative SME.
Large companies can join the international consortium, but in the Czech Republic, they will not receive support from the Eurostars program for their part of the project.
- The SME budget share must be at least 50% of the total project costs.
- Maximum project duration is 36 months.
- Exclusively civilian focus.
What funding can be used for
For international research, development, and innovation projects in all fields. Costs directly related to the research and development activities of the project are supported, typically:
- Personnel costs of researchers, developers, and other staff involved in the project,
- Material and consumables needed for development and testing,
- Depreciation of instruments, equipment, and other fixed assets used during the project,
- Acquisition of necessary minor/non-depreciated assets,
- External services and subcontracting required for research and development,
- Travel costs related to the implementation of the international project,
- Other related costs.
